Changing of The Guard
Join The Barbados Defense Force at the Garrison Historic Area as they re-enact the historic Changing of The Sentry ceremony. This impressive event takes place at the historical clock tower just off the Garrison Savannah on the South Coast of Barbados.
Up to thirteen men in full ceremonial dress, wearing the traditional Zouave uniform selected by Queen Victoria in 1858 for the West India Regiment. The presentation is approximately 15 minutes long and includes narration throughout.
There is a fully loaded bar available and historical souvenirs on sale.
