What a time we had. It was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Donna, Shanice and Winston are a real credit to the property. We did not get to know the laundry lady that well. They are so caring and went above and beyond. Donna heard us talking about nipping out to buy a cake for Hamish's birthday and insisted on making one, it was delicious. Her food was fantastic and really well cooked, I had a Michelin Star for 15 years and was impressed. Her curry's were amazing and all the little extra pastries and bread she made were wonderful. Shanice could not do enough for us and her tips for the mossies worked a treat. Thank you for steering us to Dene Court. The beach club was tremendous and a great facility. We are just discussing dates with the kids for next year.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Donna, Shanice & Stephanie. We have had the best family-time and so enjoyed ourselves in Barbados - a little bit of paradise, especially within the walls of DENE COURT and its beautiful lush grounds and pool area - we have felt so spoilt by Donna's fantastic cooking … catering to all our sometimes complex needs. To Shanice for seemingly, so easily( or certainly making it seem so) keeping everything ship-shape for us to excellent standards, and for Stephanie who looked after all our laundry needs. Finally, our evenings would not have been complete without Winston - whose warmth, friendliness and smiling face was always dutifully there to greet us on our return from an evening out. We loved it all. Thank you - so sorry to leave!!!

Let us start by saying that our 8-day vacation was extended to 10 on the seventh day ... that ought to say alot about our thoughts on DENE COURT & Barbados. The entire experience of staying at DENE COURT was wonderful - the private grounds (and the monkeys), the lovely 9-hole golf course a walk away, the divine and private beach club, and the entire community of stunning villas here at Sandy Lane and pool-side massages! But ... our trip was made truly memorable by the exceptional hospitality provided by Donna, Sharice, Winston, Chad & Desiree. What a first-rate team. Donna's love of cooking was on display in every tasty meal she prepared (and two batches of unbelievable chocolate chip cookies) Sharice and Chad kept the inside and outside in beautiful shape - and Winston, Wat a treasure! He is a kind soul and a real pleasure to chat with. We will miss them all and will always remember this special time at DENE COURT

Great stay at Dene Court. Superb hosts, Donna & Sharice. Fantastic food and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!! Like 'L', only one small suggestion - update the comfy settees & chairs. Everything else was superb.

An amazing week celebrating birthdays and more! Chef Donna, Shakilia, Stephanie & Desiree took care of us and exceeded our expectations!! Chef Donna’s cooking was exceptional! Loved it all. When we did go out we enjoyed Tides, Champers and more, but were most content to stay in and see what Donna would do next! A perfect week thanks to the team and our friend for planning it all out! Lovely stay at Dene Court! We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool and the walk to the beach. Our children enjoyed having their own rooms and the pool was great for them. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

The house is beautiful, but what made our stay amazing was the STAFF! Donna was the best chef ever! The housekeeping staff kept our rooms perfect and were so pleasant and wonderful!

Fabulous family vacation. Golf, beach, fishing, catamaran trip; all great! The house is perfect with a truly attentive, kind, friendly staff. We are all leaving with full hearts & full stomachs from Donna’s yummy cooking. Go to the golf club at night for a cocktail & the sunset! We hate to leave. To the next group, enjoy!

Excellent 10 days spent relaxing at this amazing villa being spoiled by the wonderful friendly staff. Very relaxing lace and we will be back to Barbados. Food was amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our amazing stay at Dene Court. What a wonderful property for a family vacation which included two babies! A bit thank you to the wonderful staff who looked after us. Chef Donna prepared the most delicious meals and catered to our every need. The ladies kept the house sparkling and clean every day. A fabulous retreat at the Sandy Lane Estate, Dene Court is beautifully situated with stunning grounds and walking distance to the Sandy Lane Beach and Hotel. WE have been wonderfully taken care of by Janelle, Donna and Winston. The house is immaculately kept and Donna’s great meals are always enjoyed. We hope to return soon. - The Stanton Family

Our vacation will be one of our most memorable experiences. The house was beautiful and spacious. The grounds are very lush, beautiful and well taken care of. Richard the chef, has a love for cooking that displays in his food. As mom would say "He really put his foot in his food". He learns what you want and will meet your the need of every taste bud. He is also has the sweetest personality. He is the glue that holds the house together. Juliana, the housekeeper, was so kind. She answered our every need. Very sweet and went over and beyond for everything we needed or that she thought we needed. Richard and Juliana did everything they could to make our stay a great vacation. Janell, the housekeeper, was good, but not very engaged. She did everything she needed to do, but not very personable. We did have a power outage for 2 hours due to a transformer blowing and the house does not have a generator and one should be added. Big inconvenience for my moms O2 medical device and food!

Ten of us had a fabulous time at Dene Court. The house was just lovely and presented us with the ideal location to relax and unwind. From the good-sized pool, to the comfortable terrace, and friendly but not intrusive staff we were all impressed. The house itself is well-appointed, and since our last visit the rooms have been given a make-over and some fabulous bathrooms have been created. However we didn't spend too much time in our rooms preferring to relax on the terrace beside the pool. The chef Richard is a real find - not only did he cook us some great Bajan dishes but he was a real pleasure to deal with. His rum punch was pretty good too and he kept us all well hydrated. Likewise the housekeeping staff were efficient and pleasant too. From booking taxis to booking restaurants and advising us on where to go, they all did their bit. Our realtor too was efficient and booked us into Sandy Lane where we enjoyed a lovely lunch. We also dined at Daphne's but our favourite bar was a bit further along - it was just a wee beach bar but we had a lot of fun there. Some of us did use the Sandy Lane beach - but mainly to go for a walk in the morning. Our own pool was so pleasant to relax beside we didn't really need to leave the house. I would definitely recommend the house, we have been before, and we would certainly go back. .

This is our second time staying at Dene Court and we will be back. The pictures do not deceive! This is a lovely property - beautiful house, well-maintained tropical gardens, very clean pool and close to the beach, shopping etc. on the West Coast. It was the perfect location for my 50th celebrations! The owner and the staff at the house are extremely helpful and accommodating. We had the most exquisite meals prepared by the chef during our stay equivalent to any meal that could be served at the many restaurants on the island. We highly recommend this property

This villa is fantastic - on Sandy Lane Estate in lovely grounds with easy access to the private beach club. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated with excellent entertaining and relaxing areas. All the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and air-conditioning – the beds are comfortable and each room with a balcony or view of the gardens. All the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. There was an extremely tasty variety of food from cooked breakfasts, delicious pancakes, imaginative salads and a variety of fish and meat local dishes for dinner. When relaxing outside there was always a welcoming drink or pot of tea provided. The house was always kept tidy and anything thrown in the washing basket reappeared the same day washed, ironed and neatly folded. The gardens and pool were beautiful kept and the staff reliable and keen to help advise on tourist information and events. Cannot recommend this property too highly - we will certainly be back! A visit to Dene Court is an experience not to be missed!! As you drive into exclusive Sandy Lane, you are aware your holiday is going to be very special. With five en suite beautifully appointed bedrooms and wonderful communal spaces downstairs inside and out, ten lucky people have plenty of space to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime. The staff are wonderful – your very own chef who will cater to your every need – all you need to do is buy the ingredients and Richard will do the rest! He can order fresh fish – we ate dolphin fish, king prawns the size of lobsters and enjoyed one memorable meal after another. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served al fresco with the dining table beautifully dressed differently every night with tropical flowers and candles. The domestic staff led by Jonelle, who has worked at Dene Court for nine years, are silently efficient keeping the house immaculately clean and tidy – all your laundry is washed and beautifully ironed on a daily basis meaning you can return home with a suitcase full of clean clothes! The huge tropical gardens are lovingly tendered by ‘Junior’ - Dene Court’s full time gardener and Winston will arrive shortly after dusk and look after the house overnight during your stay. Complete with its own private swimming pool, Dene Court’s grounds are truly breathtaking. We were lucky enough to see hummingbirds and green monkeys in the grounds who ate mangoes off the trees and bananas out of our hands, The very friendly concierge visits and helps you to make the very most of your holiday – she will book restaurants including taxi pick ups and amazing day trips on recommended catamarans to swim with the turtles. She is a font of information and takes the stress out of any bookings you want to make We travelled as two families, with older teenagers – never easy to pull off, they had a fantastic time learning to water ski, playing tennis, snorkelling, surfing, swimming, sup boarding, beachcombing on the West coast and even reading by the pool!! They enjoyed a night time trip to Oistins fish market. If you can tear yourself away from the pool, take a stroll down to Sandy Lane hotel and head for the very private residents only beach. Here you have sunbeds and umbrellas at your beck and call and can buy a cocktail to ease the endless sunshine. It’s tough!! I am extremely fussy about beaches and this one has to be one of the best I’ve been to, it is simply paradise.

Having returned to Dene Court for the fourth time, this stay was just as exceptional as all the others. The villa is immaculately kept and tastefully decorated, the gardens provide peaceful and beautiful surroundings, that have obviously been shown a lot of attention to detail. If you enjoy walking around the grounds taking in the amazing scenery then this property is a must. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and all have AC and balconies on to the gardens. Lounging by the pool is the perfect way to spend the day but also having convenient access to the secluded and private Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach is a huge bonus. The chef was definitely the star of our holiday, every meal was tailored to our tastes and such a pleasure to eat. The warmth and friendliness of the approachable staff makes Dene Court somewhere we can really relax and be spoilt, which is why we keep coming back. Over all, beautiful surroundings, excellent staff, wonderful food. It doesn't get any better than this.

The property was perfect! We stayed for a week and had one of the best vacations ever. We had been to Barbados 3 times prior, but never had this level of service. The entire staff was accommodating and professional on top of being friendly and fun. We felt confortable and so pampered! The grounds made you feel as if you were miles away from anyone else and maintained beautifully~ we really thought it was paradise. Between the home itself, weather, food, and the people, we would love to return yearly to this lovely home on this magnificent island. We really could not say enough. It's 5 star plus and highly recommended by our family to anyone looking to spend any time truly away ~ in paradise.
