Just a note to tell you how
Just a note to tell you how absolutely wonderful our trip was! Heronetta is a magical spot and the staff, in particular, the cook, Julie, were outstanding. Actually better than the restaurants we went to. The weather was the only disappointment. Apparently, the rain (for three days) was very unusual for the time of year. But it didn’t let it interfere with our fabulous time.

I would highly recommend this beautiful home! It is in the middle of four acres of lush gardens and has a huge swimming pool. The five bedrooms with in-suite baths are perfect for a large group!! The house was wonderful but the best thing about it was the amazing STAFF!! They were wonderful and always eager to help.....their cooking was delicious!! We went with a total of five couples and everyone had a great time!!

what a truly fantastic week we have had, it was made even more special by the wonderful ladies at the house. this fantastic group of people mixed with this beautiful place was above what we expected. make sure to enjoy yvonne's rum punch when you come and sherelle's flying fish (and pudding and souse!)

From the moment we walked out of the airport we knew our weekend in Barbados was going to be a special one. Or villa was spectacular, the beach breathtaking, the food mouthwatering and the locals were welcoming. In Barbados we felt like we were in a true paradise and in our villa the girls (Mina & Vestros) treated us like royalty. We could not have asked for a better experience.

April 2016 A Fabulous Place to make Memories
Everything about Heronetta is idyllic! I have stayed there many times, the last visit being a week in 2009 when I was finishing up revisions on a book to be published the next year. Though I already knew Heronetta was the perfect setting for relaxed vacationing, I found on this last visit that it was perfect for work and play as well. I can't imagine a more charming house in a lovelier setting--and all this on the beautiful, attraction-filled island of Barbados. The Heronetta pace is undemanding; the staff is welcoming, attentive and always helpful. Housekeeper Yvonne has a full complement of cheerful, willing helpers who cater to every need (or whim). Chef Shemell cooks delicious meals that can be savored in either indoor or outdoor dining areas. On the western coast of the island, the house and its outbuildings (plus pool and tennis court)are set amid gorgeous sheltering trees and all sorts of tropical flowers--the air is fragrant, and there is always the sound trade winds in the palms and the sea lapping the beach at the edge of the lawn. Spectacular sunsets are a standard feature, accompanied by rum punches if you wish--and occasionally by the phenomen of the magical "green flash" when the sun strikes the water a special, particular way as it dips below the horizon. Heronetta is a fabulous place to make memories!!
