Thank you very much for a wonderful week at Sandalwood. The house felt like home for our week here, not least with all the comfortable beds and home cooking provided by the crew. We came to this amazing villa for a family reunion, after being separated for over 18 months by COVID. It was such a prefect place to get to know my new grand daughter and for baby cousins to met for the first time. We were made so welcome by Charmaine and all the staff. Everyone was really flexible and accommodating. Thank you Jacqui for the excellent food, Cynthia for all the cleaning and laundry, Jason for the beautiful garden and massive clear up after the hurricane and Lyndon for staying a full 36 hours when the island went into lockdown for the storm! Charmaine always wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as perfect as it could be! I would love to come back one day.

After maybe the worst year anyone has ever had, we escaped to Barbados….. and our favourite place; Sandalwood. This house has so many amazing memories for us….our last trip to stay here was 5 years ago and we are NOT leaving it another 5 years! ‘It is quite stressful traveling with a 9 & 1 year old & we were instantly made to feel at home & supported brilliantly by the team. Great house for friends (we were group of 6 couples); close to sandy lane beach where we had private allocated seating. Perfect entertaining house with plenty of room. The staff were unbelievable - great food; spotlessly clean (cleaned every day) - ran by Charmaine, who was the perfect host. Staff seemed to be ‘hidden’ away and then your room was cleaned and remade - excellent. Hope to be back soon

We were a group of 13, with 5 kids under 6 with us. The house staff made the vacation memorable - Charmaine the butler and Jackie the cook worked tirelessly to meet all our needs. Jackie is an excellent cook! Ray the gardener spent every day sweating in the hot sun to maintain the grounds and pool area. Michelle and her colleague (her name starts with an S, but I don't want to massacre the spelling!) did all of our laundry and kept the house spotless every day. Lindon the nightwatchman walked around the property all night every night for 12 hours. These people brought our vacation to the next level...thank you!! The house looks even better than advertised. All of the furniture was incredibly comfortable, especially the beds. The outdoor furniture was excellent as well. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with both the kids and the adults! The grounds were beautiful. The kids loved exploring. They also loved watching the family of monkeys that came through almost daily! The cottage on the property is just as beautiful as the house. It was very comfortable, and was also kept spotless every day. The walk to the beach is 10 minutes. Charmaine was kind enough to stock the beach cabana with whatever we asked for. Given the size of our group, this was no easy task. She was amazing! We have travelled extensively, and we all agreed that this was the best, most relaxing vacation that we have ever had. Without the staff there to help us, our vacation would have been much less relaxing. It was a pleasure to have met them all. We love Barbados, and we love Sandalwood House. We will be returning here.

Sandalwood was the perfect spot for our two families to relax and enjoy Barbados. The accommodations were excellent -- beds comfy, enough privacy when you needed and space to hang out when you wanted to be with everyone, grounds gorgeous, close enough to walk the beach and tennis.
