Day 1: Welcome to Barbados 

From the time you land at Grantley Adams International Airport our team will ensure a seamless process with priority meet and greet and luxury transfers straight to your villa where all you need to do is get settled in for your family holiday. Explore the property with your Realtors Limited property manager who will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your villa or Barbados.
Staying near Holetown? Head to Limegrove Lifestyle Centre for a casual bite to eat. Peppenero is great for pasta and pizza and Lemongrass is our top pick for Asian fusion noodles and curries. You will find something for the entire family. Limegrove is also known for its fabulous boutiques and duty-free shopping.
Staying on the South Coast? We recommend dining at Buzo Osteria Italiana for pizzas, pastas and other authentic Italian food in a comfortable, chic, AC setting. 

Day 2: Hit the beach!
Barbados has many beautiful beaches to explore. Start your day with a morning stroll on the beach nearest to your villa. After a day of travel, you and your family deserve to rest and recharge while relaxing in the cool Caribbean Sea. 
Make a stop at Massy Supermarkets to stock up on essentials for the week (especially snacks, water bottles, breakfast foods and of course some reef safe sunscreen). If you do not want to supermarket shop while on holiday our concierge can ensure your fridge is fully stocked before your arrival and any extras you may get a craving for we can have to your villa the same day.
Treat the family to a magical sunset dinner at La Cabane, one of our favourite beach bars. The kids can frolic in the sand while you enjoy a cool cocktail and watch the boats pass against the setting sun. The menu includes options for all. 
 

Day 3: Cruise the Caribbean Sea
Spend a day at sea on a catamaran cruise. Swim with sea turtles, snorkel with tropical fish and see a shipwreck - it is fun for the entire family. Most catamarans are all inclusive including snacks, an authentic Bajan buffet lunch, and free flowing drinks. Be sure to drink plenty of water and reapply sunblock throughout the day. 
After a full day in the sun, head back to your villa for a quiet, relaxing night in. Hire a private chef to prepare dinner while you and your family enjoy dinner al fresco under the stars at your villa. Ask our Realtors Limited team to book a private chef for the night if a chef is not already included with your villa rental.
 

Day 4: Explore the Island
Add some adventure to your vacation by hiring a rental car and going on a self-guided island tour of beautiful Barbados. Our Realtors Limited concierge team can help you with your car rental booking and even recommend stops you can make based on your interests. 
Drive along the scenic east coast to see the surfers at Bathsheba and the untouched Cattlewash beach. Head to Cherry Tree Hill for breathtaking views and St. Nicholas Abbey – a traditional plantation house with a historic tour, train ride and rum tasting for the adults. Continue north to visit Animal Flower Cave for lunch with beautiful rugged cliff ocean views. There is even a playground for the kids and you may see a black belly sheep or two. Schedule in tours along the way like Harrison’s Cave – a limestone cave to see stalactites and stalagmites. The list goes on and on, there is so much to see and do in Barbados.
The kids will sleep soundly after a day of exploring, so that means it’s your time to unwind. The west coast has many fine dining restaurants to choose from. Some of our favourites include: The Tides, Lonestar, and Fusion. Treat yourself, it’s your vacation too! Ask our Realtors Limited team to help you book a certified babysitter throughout your stay to ensure your children are safe while you play. 
 

Day 5: Experience the Culture
There are many historic tours and experiences to enjoy in Barbados. We encourage you to learn about the rich Bajan culture while visiting the island. One of our favourite ways to experience a culture is by tasting it. Signup for a walking food tour of the capital Bridgetown with ‘Lickrish Food Tours’ to see and taste Barbados. Rum is another huge part of our culture. The Mount Gay Rum tour is great for those 18+ who want to learn (and taste) more on the rum that invented rum!
Enjoy an evening of live entertainment at The Beach Extravaganza Dinner Show at Harbour Lights. The local bands, dancers and traditional characters tell the story of the history of Barbados. Your all-inclusive ticket includes transport to and from your villa, a Bajan style BBQ and free flowing drinks all night! Kids enjoy roasting marshmallows for dessert and dancing along with the performers. It is fun for the whole family!
 

Day 6: Add some Adventure
Sign up for surfing lessons with the whole family or explore the underwater world on the Atlantis submarine or for the more adventurous dive in yourself with scuba lessons – It’s your last full day on this magical island, make it count!
Looking for a way that you can relax on the beach while your kids keep busy? Spend the day at the Boatyard, you can lounge on beach chairs, under your personal umbrella while your kids swing into the ocean on a rope swim, bounce on the ocean trampolines, and swim with turtles (all included in the entrance fee). When you get hungry lunch is redeemed with your entrance fee so sit back and enjoy the day at the beautiful Carlisle Bay. 
If you haven’t already been, you must visit Oistins Fish Market for a taste of local cuisine. This fish fry is most popular on Friday nights. We recommend arriving early to enjoy the sunset from the pier (and to avoid long lines later in the night). Order fresh, local fish like mahi mahi, barracuda and flying fish, with sides like plantain, breadfruit and macaroni pie!
 

Day 7: Check Out
Enjoy one last morning walk on the beach and dip in the sea. Pack your bags and head to the airport (our team can help you arrange airport transfers). As you wait in the departure lounge and reflect on your memorable holiday in Barbados, you will immediately want to start planning your next trip back to paradise!
