We had no idea how wonderful this trip was going to be when we set out. From the beautiful sights, the views, the water, the new foods, to the beautiful, friendly people of Barbados, it exceeded our expectations. But what set it apart so uniquely was Patrick and Megan. I’ll never forget sitting down to that very first meal and just thinking, “wow!”. We looked forward to everything he made, the food was soo good. And Megan…sweet Megan is like an angel! Everything was always clean and having a clean house and my bed made was so nice!...and to even clean our laundry?? What a treat! Fantastic, amazing 2nd trip to Barbados!! Seawards was a perfect place to stay, to enjoy the sun, sand and beach. We will definitely come back or another visit. The team there anticipates everything you could probably want and provides for every need. We were spoiled by Lisa’s delicious food and enjoyed the added benefit of culinary school. All of this with a warmth and hospitality that conveys her love of her profession. Anne has been such a joy to get to know and her huge smile and free laughter sets the tone for the welcoming villa experience. Delores is the chic, trendsetter who’s kindness and attentiveness puts guests at ease and her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. Our group of 8- 4 couples can be a handful, yet this talented group of women was more than up to the task and probably helped take it up a notch with Lisa’s authentic Bajan Rum Punch from start to finish. First big holiday post covid and with 2 young children, Grace 5 and Zachary 2! So we brought the grandparents with us! Such a beautiful, tranquil house located right next to the beach in St Lucy. The Fish Pot restaurant is situated just across the road and has a great atmosphere and delicious food. Speightstown is also just a 5-10 minute drive away and has plenty of vibrant beach bars and restaurants. I also loved sitting out on the front porch every evening watching the sunset through the trees and listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. The house was super clean and spacious, beds were really comfortable and all amenities worked perfectly. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Barbados.

Absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous villa. It is lovely decorated inside, open plan living and kept absolutely spotless by the lovely housekeeper Andrea. The garden is a little oasis itself with the pool and sun loungers to relax. In the front is a large lounge area to sit, read or just listen to the ocean. My wonderful friends and I stayed at the gorgeous ‘Chateau De Mar’ for my 50th birthday celebrations last month, and it was the most idyllic girly trip ever. Perfectly positioned literally a stone’s throw from the beach and 2 minutes walk from the fantastic ‘Fish Pot Restaurant’, this fabulous 5 bedroom villa is beautifully designed, well-equipped and the spacious interiors are just absolutely stunning. We didn’t want to leave, it was just so perfect! The shopping mall and restaurants in Holetown centre are only a short taxi ride, and there are some fab restaurants in Speightstown, which are only 5 minutes away. Our absolute favourite place to dine was the ‘Fish Pot’, and not because it was the closest, it was by far the best food, service and view of all the places we visited. We would also definitely recommend ‘Baia’, ‘La Cabane’, ‘QP Bistro’, ‘Tides’, ‘Lone Star’, ‘1-11 East’, ‘Local & Co’ and ‘Sea Shed’. Another ‘must’ is to book Dwayne to take you by water taxi along the coast to ‘La Cabane’ (or any of the other beach restaurants) for lunch. He picks you up from the floating pontoon in front of the ‘Fish Pot’, so it’s super easy! His guided tour of the west coast of Barbados and knowledge of all the celebrity properties is mind boggling. To return back to the villa along the coast, while the sun is setting is also incredibly beautiful. We would highly recommend ‘Chateau De Mar’ to anyone interested in visiting this magical island and we can’t wait to visit again in the near future.

Had a wonderful stay at the most perfect, paradise location in Barbados . It is literally a stone’s throw from the beach and a very well appointed, spacious villa with direct access to an idyllic setting and the most wonderful restaurant- The Fish Pot , which has got all that you need . A great breakfast , lunch and dinner and an amazing place to sit in the sun . On lazy days , there is nowhere better than to chill at the villa , by the private pool and enjoy a few drinks on the terrace . I would love to return to this gem of a place soon .

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found this villa , such a lovely location , right across the road from the beach . The villa is very clean and offers everything one shall need . Such a quaint little pool to a beautiful dining room, sun beds and also a lovely area if you prefer shade . There is a delightful restaurant across from the villa so no worrying about driving or taxis , you can enjoy a wonderful meal and a lovely bottle of rose watching the most beautiful sunsets .. Secret Cove was everything we could have hoped for - a beautiful and luxurious apartment with great views, beautiful gardens and of course the secret cove itself, which was a little corner of paradise. We were very impressed with the guest experience from Realtors. They were proactive and helpful at all times. Equally, we were looked after extremely well by our lovely housekeeper, Junette. She made our holiday extra special and couldn't do enough for us. We cant' wait to go back. Would recommend for those who want a beautiful quiet spot to sit and chill and watch the sea. Lovely stay at Chateau de Mar, we came to celebrate a birthday and we had such a great time. Super host, housekeeper included for 6 days a week. Accommodation was impeccable, clean and very stylish. Stayed in the apartment (Rumshack) which has its own kitchenette. Bed was super comfortable. Clean and all air conditioned. Great gardens which makes it feels like an oasis with many birds and humming birds to see and listen to. And as it’s only a hop away from the amazing Fish Pot restaurant we didn’t need to cook much. Calm seas most of the times with a sandy beach so even I was swimming - used the sun beds at the Fish Pot and saw sea turtles whilst snorkelling there. Highly recommended for families or friends to chill out and enjoy the more local side of Barbados - 5 stars from me.

Loved this villa! Spacious, clean and well serviced and a few steps from a lovely beach and the Fish Pot Restaurant. Four lovely bedrooms in the main house and a wonderful spacious separate en-suite adjacent to the main house giving additional privacy. There is a superb covered seating area at the front of the house, perfect for reading and sundowners whilst listening to the sea, watching the sunset and admiring the luscious vegetation in the garden. At the rear of the vila is a lovely pool with sun beds plus a shaded seating area. Al this is overlooked by the covered outdoor dining area. The kitchen is well provisioned. Speightstown with restaurants and a gorgeous beach well worth a visit is only 5 minutes drive away although with the fabulous food across the road at the Fish Pot with it’s lovely beach you don’t actually need to venture away from the villa if you’re looking for total relaxation. Boat trips and diving can be arranged from there too.

We had a fantastic stay at Porters Gate 19! It was extremely well furnished and equipped. The kitchen had every gizmo and gadget under the sun, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, soap, detergent and dryer sheets for the laundry. We loved the small touches like books and board games, bag of charcoal for the BBQ ( even if we didn't use it), usb charger and the portable speaker. There were no toiletries like Shampoo or shower gel, however soap bars were provided for the shower. For us this is perfect as we always bring our own. The complex is accessible via Mango Drive /Ince Walk.

Lovely location, literally across the road from the beach so you hear the waves all day / night, so relaxing. We occupied the Rum Shack, a separate self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house, which was well appointed and spacious and kept spotless by the very cheerful and helpful housekeeper, Andrea. The pool area is a suntrap and off the main living room there is a comfy covered terrace for sundowners - the sunsets are spectacular. Also across the road is the Fish Pot hotel and restaurant, perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all day drinks and snacks on the beach, the staff are really friendly, as are all the local neighbours. A must is a speedboat trip along the west coast with Captain Dwayne, he runs from the Fish Pot jetty and is really friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth a few hours at sea.

The house is simply beautiful, the rooms, the garden, the pool and of course the view. 62 years ago my parents met in Barbados. My father was in the navy stationed here and my grandfather was an electrical technician, working on solar technology for the navy. They shared an office and that's how mom and dad met. This week, we celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in the place where it all began. My mother helped to open the Sandy Lane boutiques and the "new hotel". Needless to say Innisfree has been the perfect spot for this very special occasion. Rasheedia and Michelle have taken amazing care of us and the home during our stay. Tony and steven have also done a superb job. Our vacation was absolutely amazing! We came to Grendon House four years ago before lockdown and we had to come again! The new chef, kay, has been making amazing food and Lorraine and Amaria have been so helpful! The pool was great, and the beach is fabulous! We went snorkeling and saw a cute turtle! If you want to go on a boat ride, we recommend El Tigre catamaran cruise. It was nice sitting on the back porch and having a chat after dinner. We went coconut hunting, for my little brother who really wanted one and we got to see some monkeys! If you wake up around 8:30, you may see some monkeys out back by the golf course. Overall, we had a really nice stay!

What a time we had. It was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Donna, Shanice and Winston are a real credit to the property. We did not get to know the laundry lady that well. They are so caring and went above and beyond. Donna heard us talking about nipping out to buy a cake for Hamish's birthday and insisted on making one, it was delicious. Her food was fantastic and really well cooked, I had a Michelin Star for 15 years and was impressed. Her curry's were amazing and all the little extra pastries and bread she made were wonderful. Shanice could not do enough for us and her tips for the mossies worked a treat. Thank you for steering us to Dene Court. The beach club was tremendous and a great facility. We are just discussing dates with the kids for next year.

This trip was covid delayed for so long that I was ready to call it off, but our friend insisted that we would have a great time and that we would love the villa. So, my wife determined that we would go. As others have mentioned, once you go to the villa and see where it is located (right across from the ocean) and you meet the great staff, all worries are forgotten, and you come to love this beautiful place. We had a fantastic week, and we look forward to a return trip; hopefully in the near future, so that we can have the same crew!

We originally chose Grendon house because of its access to Sandy Lane beach; however, ironically, we only made it to the beach one day. Our family enjoyed hanging out at the house and pool in the afternoons. From the landscaping to the pool to the house layout, all create the most peaceful and serene ambiance. We loved the openness and sitting out in the porches. During the day we went on various excursions to experience the Barbados history and culture. At night we loved playing ping pong tournaments and cards at the house. The best kept secrets of Grendon House are Amaria, Emmanuel, and Lorraine. Each of their talents are treasured and will highly be missed. We loved Amaria’s smile and friendliness and she always answered all our silly questions. She and Lorraine did a splendid job keeping this large house always looking clean and organized. Emmanuel is a top chef! There is no need to ever eat out because his creations are divine. We will truly miss each of their personal touches! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was better than we could ever dream. It made our first trip to Barbados special, and we have lots of lovely memories and pictures to take home with us.

After Covid has kept us away for two years, our first trip to Ceiba made for a joyous return to Barbados. Let us start by saying that our 8-day vacation was extended to 10 on the seventh day ... that ought to say alot about our thoughts on DENE COURT & Barbados.
The entire experience of staying at DENE COURT was wonderful - the private grounds (and the monkeys), the lovely 9-hole golf course a walk away, the divine and private beach club, and the entire community of stunning villas here at Sandy Lane and pool-side massages!
But ... our trip was made truly memorable by the exceptional hospitality provided by Donna, Sharice, Winston, Chad & Desiree. What a first-rate team. Donna's love of cooking was on display in every tasty meal she prepared (and two batches of unbelievable chocolate chip cookies) Sharice and Chad kept the inside and outside in beautiful shape - and Winston, Wat a treasure! He is a kind soul and a real pleasure to chat with. We will miss them all and will always remember this special time at DENE COURT

We came to this amazing villa for a family reunion, after being separated for over 18 months by COVID. It was such a prefect place to get to know my new grand daughter and for baby cousins to met for the first time. We were made so welcome by Charmaine and all the staff. Everyone was really flexible and accommodating. Thank you Jacqui for the excellent food, Cynthia for all the cleaning and laundry, Jason for the beautiful garden and massive clear up after the hurricane and Lyndon for staying a full 36 hours when the island went into lockdown for the storm! Dawn and Kaysha made the post-quarantine days luxurious and delicious. We felt truly pampered and cared for. Thank you for the cooking lessons – we know know how to make married peas & rice and can’t wait to roast a breadfruit back home.
We also got to watch a Hawksbill turtle lay her eggs one night @ Il Tiempo and help rescue turtle eggs right off the beach here – The turtle patrol people are amazing!

What a wonderful time we had here in Barbados and Seawards! The villa was perfect. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening refreshments on both the upper deck and lowere deck. Sorkeling off the beach was superb! Sitting on the beach everyday… must be heaven!
What can we say about Kaysha and Dawn! They were fantastic! I want to take both of them home with us. The meals prepared by Kaysha were delicious. Dawn made sure everything we needed was there for us. We enjoyed visiting with both of them and will miss them. Thanks to both of you for taking excellent care of us.

So glad to be back at Sundown but 3 weeks was not enough. The new look of the villas with great choice of colours and renovations made us feel so at home. Paul is a wonderful chef. His coconut shrimp and pumpkin/pea soup are by far the most scrumptious we’ve ever had. His style of cooking definitely satisfied our palates in a big way. He delivered above and beyond our expectations.

First time to Barbados; my daughter and son-in-law brought us on a vacation to this beautiful island that God put on earth. Our stay was awesome; enjoyed every moment of it, all the tours especially the Harrisons cave and the ride on the catamaran. Unit 101 I will miss the most the ocean in the early morning, the peace and quiet, the scene from the windows and the patio and enjoyed the pool. Our housekeeper was nice to us, thank you. We’ve just enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime at Seawards – with thanks to Dawn and Kaysha. While the house is super and the location is just wonderful, it was the warm Bajan welcome we received that made it all the more special.
Thanks so much to Dawn who took care of us o well – nothing was too much trouble. And equal thanks to Kaysha who prepared the most delicious meals for us time and again – we will miss you both.
We’ll also miss mornings on the beach, afternoons in the po and the glorious evening sunsets. We’re already planning our next visit.

Barbados again welcomed us with open arms. Beautiful weather the entire week until the day we are leaving. It is as if the island is crying to see us go.
Seawards was our home away from home especially with Dawn & Keysha caring for us. The house was pristine and our meals outstanding.
Some of the week’s highlights included drives to the east coast with lunch @ Chill-n-Breeze. Every time we drove around, we found new ways including roads that ended. We were excited to see most of Barbados on our rambles. Every evening included drinks @ Il Tiempio during happy hour and a Thursday tour of Mount Gay with an amazing lunch.
My Father-in-aw mastered making his bed to meet Dawn’s standards and at 80, he finally went swimming in the Caribbean ocean.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our favourite had to be sitting on the balcony for morning tea/coffee. The was my wife's 50th birthday & what a way to top it off. We had thought our 4 days in Maxwell was fantastic but Seawards took the experience to another level. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the many spaces; the pool & of course the magnificent ocean. We were especially grateful that our friends & family were able to spend a few hours with us @ diner on the patio. Fantastic conversations. Finally, I cannot say enough about Dawn, what an asset. Just her wonderful presence will bring us back. She treated us like royalty. Our spaces were immaculate every day & the advice she gave was on point. Our special thanks to Keysha for her wonderful cooking. It truly was an experience my wife & kids will never forget. It is another reminder that life is a blessing. With tremendous thanks.

Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise. Such fun we have enjoyed – the venue, the people, the food, exploring this amazing island. Every coast offers remarkable treasures – the beaches beckon, as does the rugged coastline of the North. Never have we enjoyed the ocean so fully and so freely; only friendly fish here. Apartment 101 is exceptionally well set up; a true home away from home. We will miss the incredible views and endless sunshine, the singing frogs and the crashing ocean lullabies.

Second time on the Gibbs beach and its just amazing. Location is unique, truly, one just cannot get a better location. We just finished our trip to Grendon House While fresh in my mind - I want to share some feedback of the house, the experience and Barbados in general - as this was our first trip here. Overall - great trip. great place, would recommend it. First - Barbados: We have visited a lot of the Caribbean. Barbados rates very high on the list as a place to visit. The people are great. They get tourism is key to their success. Everyone speaks english. The infrastructure of the island is strong - roads, internet, power, water (drinkable). Staying on the West Coast - we never had any concerns of safety. We rented a car - and found driving (with a GPS) to be a great way to get around - and is 100% required. Supermarket - The supermarket down the road (Massy) is a fully stocked Supermarket like you would find in the UK, US or Canada. It is about 1.4 miles away from the hotel. It is EXPENSIVE compared to the US. Figure everything is at least 2x what you would pay in the US (in USD), and in some cases 4x. So, be prepared for that. They have the brands you will know - but you will pay. Some fresh items did run out. Welcome to an island. We brought some essentials from home, and knowing this - would have brought more. An extra checked bag worth of stuff would easily pay for itself in a moment. Grendon House Location: Grendon house is on a lane between the 'highway' and the Sandy Lane Resort. It is about 1 mile from the Country Club Course and about a mile to the Beach. It sits right off the 5th hole of the Old 9 course - but it does have a wall / landscaping to provide separation. Both are walkable - and parking is available at both locations -as well as the Old 9 course. There is nothing else closer. The house is a part of the Sandy Lane Villas - but this does not give full access to the resort. You can book golf (at a discount) and dine - but you do not have the rights to the resort pool or other amenities (Gym). There is an owners beach club - which was a good option and never that busy when we were there. The house is in a very private location. It is behind a gate and is very secure. The only unexpected visitors we had were a group of monkeys that came by twice to visit. The house: The house is huge and has so many great covered seating locations and dining locations - with just awesome indoor / outdoor spaces. Everyone can find their own space to sit and read, play cards, talk, drink,.... Due to this unique (and awesome) layout - the AC is limited to the bedrooms and a TV room. This never was an issue for us. 5th Bedroom. The 5th bedroom is on other side of the the kitchen - and from the layout was probably designed originally as the Staff Quarters. Be mindful of that if you need the 5th room. There are some tiny, biting bugs. Windows and doors in the rooms are opened during the day. There is a 'Vape' mat under the beds that we figured out several days into the trip. I replaced the mat - and that seemed to keep the bugs away. Play it safe and bring some spray (like Off) and some anti-itch in case you need it. Mats are in the night stand in the rooms. Also - only bar soap is provided. Any other showering things you need (Shampoo,...) bring or you will need to get from the store. House Staff. They are great. A team of 3 - they were there when we needed them. They have been with the house a long time - and they know how to run the place. They will not get in your way - and will take care of everything you need at the house. The only key thing that John (cook) needs is food to cook with. We made several runs to the store and fish market (Fish, Fish and More Fish) to get provisions. He will tell you what he needs - and is creative to use what you have provided and what you like. Food was always great and a lot of it. He has an unlimited menu of options - and we let him make whatever he wanted with what we provided. Dining out. Just when you thought the supermarket was expensive - wait until you try to eat out. Simply - we did not do it (beyond a run for the kids to the new Burger King (next to Massy) and the Chefette for Pizza). John took care of us - and cooked up an awesome selection of meals. If you do want to go out - just be prepared. As an example - the Country Club Golf course lunch menu has Fish and Chips entree for about $50 USD. Currency: Every place takes credit cards, and every place took USD. If you use USD, you will get change in local currency. ATMs are available. Other things to do: Catamaran tour - Calabaza - great. Lots to eat and drink. Deep see fishing - Mom's Therapy - Hard core fishing boat, no frill. Bring drinks. Golf - Old 9 at Sandy Lane - good, fun, 1/2 of an 18 - a good 'value' compared to Country Club 9 and a fun course. Fish, Fish and More Fish - see Melissa for fresh fish for John to cook, just down the road St Nicholas Abbey - skip it - but drive by to see the views on the way to Bathsheba at Cherry Tree Hill

Just back from an 8 night stay at Dene Court. Villa amenities were great, pool area and grounds couldn’t be faulted.We were a party of 10 adults and it never felt crowded, very laid back and relaxing. Location is brilliant, Tides, Lone Star, Fusion and The Cliff all a short drive away. We hired a car but walked to Sandy Lane Beach Club most days, as you’d imagine the Propery Owners Beach Club is exclusive and very chilled, beach is one of the best in B’dos. Although we have been to B’dos several times, it was the first time we’d hired a staffed villa and we were unsure how this would work. Fair to say the villa staff (Donna, Janelle, Elizabeth, Winston and Chad) made the stay beyond memorable. Friendly, efficient and helpful - really nice people, thanks for looking after us and making our stay with you so special. I’d recommend Dene Court and hopefully will return

I am completely shocked that there is anyone who has stayed at this villa that found it disappointing! I just got back from two weeks at St. Helena and I have stayed in luxurious villas in both Barbados and Hawaii, and St. Helena is hands down, the best one yet. There were 17 of us staying, and from the minute you drive through the gates, you are in paradise. The house itself is just stunning! The decor is exquisite and very opulent! The bedrooms are stunning and the beds are so comfortable. The pool is just incredible with the diving board to keep the kids entertained. We loved the hot tub, as it was a great to relax in, in the evenings. The staff were so unbelievable!! I felt as tho we were in a 5+ star hotel. Everyone is there to wait on you hand and foot. The chef was exceptional!! The table was set with Wedgwood china and the exceptional meals were served restaurant style. There was no request that was denied, and not having to lift a finger was divine! The previous reviewer mentioned that the kitchen was locked at night. The kitchen is not really a place that the guests would go, as the staff are there to bring you anything you ask for, we did request that the kitchen remain unlocked in case we needed anything in the middle of the night......we didn't. There is a bar next to the pool that was stocked with drinks in the fridge there, as well as a pantry with snacks so there was no need to use the kitchen at all. The kitchen and laundry room, as well as the staff room were all on there own , only connected to the main house by a hallway. The cottage has a well appointed kitchen that you could potentially use if you so wished. We were more than happy to be waited on! You are not locked in!! The main living room is open concept and is an indoor outdoor room, so at night they close the little gates that serve as doors and lock them. We were shown where the key was in case we wanted to open them before the staff returned in the morning. There is no fire hazzard! There is also a security guard on duty all night long and any issues you may have could be addressed 24hrs a day! There is not one thing I could possible complain about with St. Helena and I am absolutely floored that anyone could find a single wrong with it. It was a magical vacation in a stunning villa set in paradise! I would more than recommend this property to everyone! A special thank you to all the staff that made our stay incredible!!

When the original holiday we’d booked fell through after the owners decided to sell their property we were understandably disillusioned at the prospect of starting again from scratch. But, serendipitously, we chanced upon the lovely Villa Galena and thank goodness fate dealt us that hand! Four of us stayed in this beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully situated villa, enjoying its comfortable facilities and the attentive services of Maxine, our fabulous cook, and Natasha, our fantastic housekeeper. Apart from the fact that the villa was just sublime, Max and Tash made sure our holiday was extra special, cooking us wonderful local dishes and keeping the villa sparkling clean. Sitting on the terrace, listening to the early evening chorus of whistling frogs, gazing at the Caribbean Sea in the distance, while enjoying one or two of Maxine’s delicious Bajan fish cakes, accompanied by a cold glass of wine – this is just one of many memories that will never fade. Villa Galena is set in its own gorgeous tropical grounds (regularly attended by excellent gardeners). The large front garden and driveway has covered parking and the entrance to the traditional-style, single storey villa is appealing and welcoming. Inside, there’s plenty of seating and reception area space, room to accommodate a party larger than our group of 4 adults. The rear grounds, with their beautiful palms, bougainvillea and hibiscus, slope gently down to the perimeter of the Sandy Lane golf course and afford a wonderful view of the Caribbean Sea in the distance. The generously sized outdoor pool is screened from the rest of the garden by palms and has plenty of sunbed facilities and tables, plus a shaded area for when the sun’s at its highest. There’s a barbecue, too, which we enjoyed using on Maxine’s night off. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, with plenty of refrigeration and storage space, and the double bedrooms are comfortable, light and airy and well-sized, with en suite facilities and plenty of hanging space for clothes. Our bedroom opened on to the lovely pool, perfect for an early morning dip before breakfast. Having access to Sandy Lane beach and our own beach cabana was certainly a bonus. Although walkable, practically and realistically speaking you need a car to travel the five minutes from the villa to the beach. Equally, a vehicle or taxi is required for the few minutes’ drive into nearby Holetown to sample the bars, restaurants and shopping facilities of this west coast town. WiFi is available, and was good in our bedroom, but our friends reported intermittent lack of coverage in their room. But such a stunning location more than compensates for occasional internet drop-off. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms and there are ceiling fans elsewhere. In our hire car we travelled the length and breadth of the island quite easily from Villa Galena, splashing out on a taxi to take us to the legendary Oistins Fish Fry on Friday night. To say this holiday was magical is an understatement. Max and Tash looked after us so wonderfully we felt truly spoiled. The real charm of Villa Galena lies not only in its beautiful surroundings, comfortable, spacious rooms and gorgeous views, but also in the warm and friendly welcome of its fabulous staff. Thank goodness our original holiday fell through! We’d return to Villa Galena in a heartbeat!

This is one of the best locations in Barbados right next to a lovely beach. Looked after by Realtors who are one of the most respected Villa management Companies in Barbados, and the cook and housekeeper were brilliant. They prepared perfect lunches, and most tasty evening meals served on the patio by the sea or in the dining area to suit you.The Villa is kept clean and tidy and even your washing and ironing done for you. Three good bedrooms all with en-suite and two directly accessing the rear balcony which is ideal for your early morning tea.There is a very comfortable lounge area as well as a covered outside area. The plunge pool is also a bonus, and an option for cooling off. Good value and I would definitely recommend this Villa.

Villa Galena is in an outstanding location, offering a wonderful outside terrace, pool area and tropical gardens with stunning views over the golf course and Caribbean Sea. Maxine, our cook provided delightful meals for us and Natasha, our housekeeper kept our accommodation looking beautiful, this included freshly laundered clothes for us each day. We all agreed this gem of a Villa afforded us our own piece of Barbadian Paradise. The villa also had access to the Sandy Lane Private Owners Beach which included our own cabana with its own fridge and amenities, a fabulous beach and the glorious Caribbean sea. Surely, one of the best beaches the Caribbean has to offer in our opinion. Once again a huge thank you to Maxi and Tash for making our holiday so memorable and we can all whole heartedly recommend the Villa Galena to any one searching for their own bit of Caribbean Paradise.

I would highly recommend this beautiful home! It is in the middle of four acres of lush gardens and has a huge swimming pool. The five bedrooms with in-suite baths are perfect for a large group!! This is a great place to relax. Very quiet and far from everything. Snorkelling right in from of the house. 2km from Speightown. 500 meters to convenient store and to buy local fish.

A fabulous retreat at the Sandy Lane Estate, Dene Court is beautifully situated with stunning grounds and walking distance to the Sandy Lane Beach and Hotel. WE have been wonderfully taken care of by Janelle, Donna and Winston. The house is immaculately kept and Donna’s great meals are always enjoyed.
We hope to return soon.
